Ingredients:
1 cup dry sea moss
2–3 cups spring or filtered water (for blending)
Additional water (for soaking)
(Optional) 1–2 lemon wedges (organic, with peel)
Steps:
Rinse Thoroughly:
Rinse the dry sea moss 2–3 times with cool water to remove sand, salt, and debris.
Soak (12–24 hours):
Place rinsed sea moss in a bowl and cover with fresh spring/filtered water.
Optional: Add 1–2 lemon wedges (with peel) to the soak.
This helps neutralize ocean smell, lighten the taste, and offers natural cleansing.
⚠️ Note: Lemon is acidic. If you're sensitive to citrus or plan to use the gel on skin, you may want to skip lemon to avoid irritation.
Blend:
Remove lemon (if used) and drain the soak water (optional to reserve).
Blend the soaked sea moss with 2–3 cups of clean water until smooth and creamy.
Store:
Pour into a clean glass jar with a lid. Refrigerate for up to 3 weeks, or freeze in portions for longer storage.
Flavor Ideas:
